Since its beginning in 1964, Bayou Vista Baptist Church has played a significant role in the spiritual life of the Morgan City Area. Each Sunday people drive from throughout St. Mary Parish to worship with us because of our commitment to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ through Biblical Preaching, Uplifting Music, and Warm Fellowship. In addition, we have many activities available for our children and youth that allow them from a young age to learn the necessity of surrendering their lives to the Lord.
If you are looking for a church home, it would be worth your time to visit with us and experience God’s presence in our worship services. Our Sanctuary was completely renovated in 2015. In 2022 our youth department received a beautiful facelift. Our children's departments received a complete renovation in 2024.
